In one of the most exciting World Cup finals of the modern era,┬áthe just ended Russia ’18 finals was one to watch as a young French side overcame the Golden age of Croatian talents to win thier second world title in history after FRANCE ’98.

The Croatians showed unending spirit and threatened a comeback when Mandzukic took advantage of goalkeeper Lloris hesitating clearance to pull a goal back. But France ended as 4 – 2 winners to lift the World Cup 2018. This was the first final win for Deschamps and his men after the defeat in 2016 Euros.
