The staff and management of SIC Life Company Limited),Takoradi, have donated some items to the Kwesimintsim Poly Clinic Hospital in the western region. The branch manager Mr Kofi Tawiah Sarpong says it was astonishing to see the hospital go through some challenges particularly inadequate bed spread,examination gloves and other basic equipment like pulse testers. Mr kofi tawiah who was admitted at the hospital some days ago, upon experience underscored the need for the intervention.
Speaking to the media, the branch manager indicated that part of their corporate social responsibility, deems it fit to donate examination gloves, bed sheets and pulse testing equipment to the male and female wards.
He explains that the gesture will not only benefit their clients but all who may come seeking medical attention. Mr Sarpong therefore called on other corporate organisations who have the capacity, to do same.
