Images of the street of Weija and Kasoa during lockdown

As the partial lockdown in Ghana imposed by the President of Ghana His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo begins today in some places in Ghana as a precautionary measure in preventing the spread of covid-19, this is how the streets of Weija, Kasoa and Mallam look like.

The street of the partially locked places is now like a ghost town’s street as nobody will dare defy His Excellency’s order.

As part of the government directive, the places who are experiencing lockdown will have the police and the military patrolling there to make sure some stubborn people adhere to the protocols.

It is reported the places under lockdown are the places who are recording most the cases of covid-19.
