Ghana’s covid-19 cases has risen to 195 as at Wednesday 1st April 2020, 9:45GMT according to the information minister Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
With the current cases recorded, this means the previous cases that was 161 as at Tuesday, 31st March 2020 at 15:00 GMT has increased by 34 cases as at Wednesday, 1st April 2020 at 9:45 GMT.
Ghana has also recorded 5 deaths due to covid-19. 38 have recovered and been discharged while 49 patients are recovering under home management pending another test.
Due to increase in cases, The President of Ghana has imposed a partial lockdown on some places in the country which are recording most cases of the virus as part of his measures in combating covid-19.
